Risk Manager – Global Supply Chain Management (m/f/d)


Your Responsibilities:

 

  • You will conduct comprehensive risk assessments to identify vulnerabilities in the global supply chain and monitor geopolitical, economic, and environmental factors that may impact operations.
  • Your role includes developing and implementing risk mitigation strategies, such as supplier diversification and inventory management.
  • Additionally, you will ensure compliance with global trade regulations and work closely with legal teams to address regulatory risks.
  • By establishing KPIs and risk dashboards, you will track supply chain resilience and use data analytics to forecast potential disruptions.
  • Collaboration with procurement, logistics, finance, and IT teams will be key to driving proactive risk management.
  • Furthermore, you will maintain strong supplier relationships and provide regular risk insights to senior leadership to support strategic decision-making.


Your Qualifications:

 

  • You have a bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Risk Management, or a related field (a master’s is preferred).
  • Additionally, you bring at least five years of experience in supply chain or operations, including three years in a global role.
  • Proficiency in CRM and ERP systems like SAP or Salesforce, along with risk modeling, data analytics, and process automation, is required.
  • Strong leadership, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work cross-functionally are essential.
  • Certifications such as APICS CSCP, CRMP, or Six Sigma, as well as proficiency in additional languages like Polish, German, or Chinese, are a plus.
