For our Dresden location, we are looking for you to strengthen our team full-time as

Senior Manager Project Procurement (m/f/d)

 

Your Tasks:

 

  • In this leadership position, you will develop and manage the Project Procurement department and take responsibility for the SQE pre-series, including the definition of processes in the PEP and series business.
  • You will drive the industrialization at suppliers in the PEP business worldwide, and also be responsible for planning APQP reports and process audits.
  • You will oversee the sample process, procure samples, define cost targets and timelines, and push cost-down activities in both series production and PEP projects.
  • Additionally, you will create and manage RFQs and RFIs and actively participate in the proposal preparation for JOYNEXT.
  • In close collaboration with Supplier Development, the plant quality assurance in Poland, and strategic procurement, you will play a key role in supplier selection and participation in sourcing boards.
  • You will develop and implement relevant KPIs to manage supplier quality and project procurement processes.
  • Besides resource management, you will actively support the operational daily business in project procurement.

 

Your Qualifications:

 

  • Your degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Business Administration, or as a Technical Business Manager provides the solid foundation for your expertise.
  • With over 10 years of professional experience in project procurement, technical procurement, and supplier management, you have acquired extensive knowledge and are an experienced senior in your field.
  • You have more than 5 years of disciplinary leadership experience and have successfully led a team.
  • Solid knowledge in quality assurance and supplier management is part of your experience, as is your expertise in procurement.
  • Ideally, you have gained experience in the automotive industry, preferably with a Tier-1 supplier.
  • Further qualifications, such as being an auditor or Six Sigma Black Belt, along with excellent English skills, complete your profile. Additional foreign language skills are a plus.
  • Besides your technical expertise, you are characterized by team spirit, assertiveness, and negotiation skills.
