To strengthen our team in Dresden, we are looking for you as a full-time
Senior Manager IT (m/f/d)

 

Your Responsibilities:

 

  • In this role, you will lead and further develop our IT teams – from recruitment and mentoring to performance evaluation and professional development.

  • You will be responsible for the stable, secure, and scalable operation of the IT infrastructure, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations.

  • Your responsibilities also include managing IT budgets, procuring technical resources, and collaborating strategically with external service providers to ensure cost-efficient and high-performance IT services.

  • By establishing and enforcing IT policies, standards, and best practices, you will actively contribute to compliance and risk mitigation.

  • Together with executive leadership, you will prioritize IT projects, allocate resources appropriately, and ensure the successful execution of change processes as well as robust disaster recovery and business continuity plans.

 

Your Qualifications:

 

  • You hold a completed Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.

  • Several years of experience in IT leadership roles have shaped your strong managerial skills.

  • You have a proven track record in managing complex IT projects and working with cross-functional teams.

  • Your profile includes in-depth expertise in IT infrastructure, systems architecture, cybersecurity, cloud technologies, and enterprise applications.

  • Ideally, you also bring certifications such as PMP, ITIL, CISSP, or CISM and have extensive knowledge of IT governance, compliance, and risk management.
