For our Dresden location we are looking for you to join our team full-time 
Senior Manager Advanced Engineering (m/f/d) 

 

Your Tasks:

 

  • As a department manager of an R&D division, you will be responsible for the technical and disciplinary management of your employees and report to the division manager.
  • You will be actively involved in the planning and creation of (short, medium and long-term) targets and their realization for the entire department and will be responsible for the budget and cost plan for your department.
  • You will lead and support your employees in the implementation of their tasks, primarily through target agreements, and ensure the continuous development, automation and optimization of work processes.
  • You will also assume department-specific responsibility for designing the product range and developing strategic guidelines.
  • You will be responsible for working with various OEMs to acquire and implement advanced projects
  • You will create and implement long-term personnel development planning and adapt it in good time to changing market and general conditions.
  • You will be responsible for maintaining important customer contacts with the involvement of your employees.

 

Your Qualifications:

 

  • You have successfully completed a technical university degree (diploma/master's degree).
  • You also have several years of professional experience as a manager of larger teams in the field of software development for embedded systems.
  • Your tried and tested knowledge of personnel management and project management will make your start at JOYNEXT easier.
  • You are familiar with the environment of typical vehicle control units in accordance with the requirements of Automotive Spice and functional safety.
  • Experience with automotive projects and in the development of more complex control units will help you get started at JOYNEXT.
  • You have the ability to design economic solution concepts for future ECUs within the framework of RFI and RFQ.
  • A very good command of English is a prerequisite.
