We are looking for you to strenghen our team in Dresden on a full-time basis.
Purchasing Specialist (m/f/d)

Your Tasks:

 

  • Take regional responsibility for the procurement of strategic product groups such as mechanics, PCBs, and electrical assemblies.
  • Collaborate closely with the Global Commodity Manager to monitor and ensure key performance indicators (KPIs) at supplier and product group levels.
  • Conduct contract and price negotiations for regional projects and annual targets.
  • Manage localization and relocation projects in coordination with project procurement.
  • Actively handle supplier management, focusing on regional C-suppliers, and resolve escalations in supplier complaints.
  • Support global procurement strategies and contribute to technology matrix projects.
  • Participate in trade fairs to define new technology standards in PCB technologies and EMS services.


Your Qualifications:

 

  • Several years of experience in strategic procurement within the automotive industry.
  • Strong technical expertise in mechanics, PCBs, assemblies, EMS, and knowledge of SMD/SMT processes.
  • A degree in mechanical or electrical engineering is required.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of VDA 6, IATF 16949, and cybersecurity standards.
  • Willingness to travel internationally (>30%).
  • A proactive mindset with strong analytical skills, resilience, and the ability to work independently in critical situations.
