Process Engineer Strategic Functional Safety Management (m/f/d)
Your Responsibilities:
- You will be responsible for creating, coordinating, and maintaining all functional safety-relevant templates, including the Safety Plan, Functional Safety Key Facts, and Fault Tree Analysis documentation.
- In close collaboration with relevant process stakeholders, you will develop and document workflows to ensure compliance with ISO 26262 requirements (ASIL A to D) for the documentation of analysis, design, and testing artifacts.
- You will regularly communicate with the operational Functional Safety Manager and work continuously to improve the documented processes and workflows.
- Furthermore, you will support the relevant departments in implementing and qualifying development tools.
- In addition to your core tasks, you will train employees on process workflows and independently analyze external and company-specific requirements to identify optimization opportunities.
Your Qualifications:
- You have a successfully completed university degree (Diploma/Master’s) in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a comparable field.
- Additionally, you bring at least five years of relevant professional experience in applying analysis, design, and modeling methods within the context of functional safety processes.
- You hold at least two relevant certifications, such as FSCAE or FSCAM, or equivalent qualifications.
- In-depth knowledge of ASPICE process application is essential for this position, along with comprehensive and methodical expertise to empower other employees.
- Your structured, independent, and systematic approach to work, as well as your strong communication and moderation skills, set you apart.
- Excellent written and spoken English skills are mandatory, as you will be working in an international environment.
