For our location in Dresden, we are looking for you to join our team full-time as a
Hardware Engineer (m/f/d)

 

Your Tasks:

 

  • You will design and develop hardware circuits for automotive head units, displays, tuners, amplifiers, and connectivity control units, independently handling complex development tasks based on both customer and internal requirements.
  • In addition to conceptual design, you will evaluate and implement high-frequency (HF) circuits while considering the latest mobile network standards (4G, 5G, 6G).
  • Your responsibilities include the calculation, simulation, and verification of digital, analog, and HF circuits, as well as the selection of appropriate components.
  • Throughout the entire product development process—from the initial concept phase and design development to series production—you will ensure a seamless technical implementation.
  • Working closely with software development, layout, and mechanical design teams, you will actively contribute to optimizing the system architecture.
  • You will define and assess HF and thermal simulations of electronic circuits to guarantee optimal performance.
  • Additionally, you will document your developments, conduct module testing, and create design descriptions along with concepts for electrical functions, EMC, and safety.

 

Your Qualifications:

 

  • You hold a degree in electrical engineering, computer science, or a related technical field; alternatively, you have relevant professional experience.
  • Additionally, you possess in-depth knowledge of high-frequency technology and ideally have experience in antenna design and modern mobile network standards (4G, 5G, 6G).
  • Moreover, you are proficient in using simulation software, measurement technology, and schematic design tools.
  • With hands-on experience in developing complex hardware, you may have already successfully led subprojects, ensuring compliance with automotive development processes.
  • You are well-versed in adhering to and implementing development processes within the automotive sector.
  • Fluency in both written and spoken German and English completes your profile.
