Hardware Architect (m/f/d)
Your Responsibilities:
- As a central interface between hardware development and all processes involved in the ASPICE process, you will coordinate collaboration and ensure all requirements are met according to ASPICE standards.
- You will be responsible for creating and ensuring the quality of relevant deliverables within the ASPICE process, particularly the HWE1 and HWE2 documents, ensuring compliance with automotive quality standards.
- Additionally, you will be responsible for selecting, evaluating, and developing hardware architectures for complex automotive electronic control units, considering both technical requirements and ASPICE guidelines (HWE1 & HWE2), significantly contributing to the technical direction of the product.
- By conducting market analysis and selecting new components, you will evaluate solution alternatives and provide well-founded recommendations, clearly and transparently presenting the advantages and disadvantages of each option.
- You will accompany the entire product development process, from the RFI/RFQ phase, developing concept designs, supporting product costing (BOMs), and preparing proposal documents to ensure a smooth transition into concrete product development while maintaining process-compliant hardware architecture.
Your Qualifications:
- You hold a degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or Communications Engineering (Master’s or Diploma) and have solid technical expertise.
- Your knowledge of current processor architectures and the latest embedded operating systems is extensive, and you are able to apply this knowledge to complex requirements in the automotive industry.
- Additionally, you are proficient in using tools such as Polarion, Confluence, and JIRA, and effectively utilize them for planning and documenting development processes.
- Furthermore, you have comprehensive knowledge in key areas of automotive electronics, including power supply, networking interfaces, high-speed data transmission, radio systems, tuners, EMC, as well as relevant automotive standards (ISO 26262, UNECE, Automotive SPICE, V-Model, OEM standards).
- You are fluent in both German and English, both written and spoken, at an advanced level, enabling you to communicate and collaborate effectively in an international and interdisciplinary team.
